Our Story Built for Calaveras County,
Built for Calaveras County,
built to last
Gilbeau Construction has been serving Calaveras County and the surrounding foothills since 2021. Founded by Erin Gilbeau, the business was built on a straightforward idea: do good work for the people in your community, and do it right.
Erin started Gilbeau Construction for the freedom to serve homeowners and property owners the way they deserve to be served. That means showing up on time, communicating clearly, and taking real pride in every project, whether it's a small dry rot repair or a full kitchen remodel.
Gilbeau Construction handles a wide range of residential work across Calaveras County. Services include concrete, framing, additions, kitchen and bathroom remodels, deck repair, dry rot repair, finish carpentry, siding, windows, doors, and fencing. From new construction to repairs, the work is handled with care from start to finish.
The service area covers the communities of Arnold, Murphys, Angels Camp, San Andreas, Mountain Ranch, Valley Springs, Jackson, and Sutter Creek. Gilbeau Construction is a familiar name across these foothill towns, and that local presence matters. When you hire Gilbeau, you're working with someone who knows this area and cares about the neighbors living in it.
Gilbeau Construction operates as a licensed contractor (License No. 1096259), giving homeowners confidence that the work meets California's standards for residential construction and repair.

How We Work
What you can count on
Licensed Contractor
Gilbeau Construction holds a California contractor license, so your project meets state requirements from day one. You get documented protection on every job.
Local Area Knowledge
Working across Calaveras County means familiarity with local soil conditions, mountain weather, and the building quirks common to foothill properties. That knowledge shapes how each job gets planned.
Dry Rot Specialists
Foothill homes face ongoing moisture and wood decay issues. We identify and replace damaged framing, siding, and structural members before small problems become costly ones.
Sole Proprietor Accountability
As a sole proprietor, the owner is directly involved in every project. You speak with the person doing the work, not a dispatcher or sales rep.
Full-Scope Capabilities
From concrete and framing to finish carpentry, windows, and full kitchen or bathroom remodels, one contractor handles the work start to finish. Fewer hand-offs means fewer gaps.
Clean, Respectful Jobsites
Your property is treated with care throughout the project. Work areas are kept organized and cleaned up at the end of each day.
